Today was my first time at Homewood Gourmet. I ran in last minute right before closing to pick up some lasagna & bread pudding for a dinner. Chris was so kind & personable , it made me happy to be supporting his business . Not to mention the lasagna and bread pudding was amazing . I’m excited to continue to support this local business . He even gave me tin foil since I’m out at home so I could warm it up correctly and not have to drop by the store. Made my heart smile !

I enjoy everything I’ve purchased at Homewood Gourmet. Today I bought Creamy Chicken & Tasso Pasta. It was delicious and is now on my favorite list. The chicken salad is the best. You must try the gumbo, and at the end of the day, if you’ve run out of energy and food prep for dinner try the fish dinner special. We’re so fortunate to have Homewood Gourmet so close to home.
When I say the food is delicious, it's an understatement. I ordered catering for a group dinner and everyone raved about how good the food was and fought to take leftovers home. Win! We had Baby Blue Salad, Chicken Tasso Pasta, Jambalaya and a dessert sampler.
I ate a chicken Cobb salad here for lunch with family. The salad was really fresh, and I thought good value for the price. There was also a pumpkin muffin on the side that was pretty good. Service was also fast and friendly, although our order did get briefly mixed up. They also have lots of food in the freezer to go, from gumbo to beef lasagna. If back in the area I’d return.
Delicious food! I highly recommend the Shepard's Pie and the Baby Blue salad. I always take my food to go, usually to enjoy with at home with dinner guests. The dining space is limited but clean if you want to eat lunch there.
This place is a gem! The po boy was amazing and perfectly fried with big juicy shrimp. The grouper special pictured was fantastic. Please visit!!
